Teaser Time:

“It’s raining,” Stacey said out loud all of sudden.
Rain splashed on us, only it wasn’t rain.
“Did you see me, Hendrix?” a deep, manly voice asked, causing all sorts of tingles in me just from the sound of his voice.
“Ugh.” Hendrix wiped his face and gave each of us a towel. “Must you flip your hair and shake like a dog? No, I didn’t see you.” He sounded annoyed, then softened his tone when he turned to us. “I was too busy staring at these two beautiful ladies in front of me. One that is off limits and the other one that needs a lot of hands on.”
Stacey blushed and giggled like a schoolgirl. Since my back was to this stranger, my face didn’t get as wet as theirs, but when I peered up after I wiped myself off … holy shit! It was the guy from the swimming pool.
Our eyes locked for the first time, but neither of us looked away. In fact, his dark chocolate eyes grew, and small dimples appeared on both of his cheeks when his lips curled wider. His stare was so strong and intense that he might as well have fucked me with it. All sorts of butterflies fluttered in my stomach and spread to every nerve in my body, sending electrifying tingles everywhere. And seeing stubble along his strong jawline produced another shudder within me.
“Hi there.” His grin got wider and hotter. “Sorry about that.” He sounded sincere. When he leaned closer to my ear, my heart drummed faster, and I lost my breath. Heat infused through me, and I was trying really hard to compose myself. Before I could move away, he whispered slowly and sensually, “Did I make you wet? I can fix that for you.” His words came out hot and playful, intended only for me to hear, each word accentuated with warm puffs in my ear.

My 4.5 Star Review
Relationships aren’t always easy, especially long distance ones. After Rachel breaks up with her boyfriend and being offered a once in a life time job for Knight Magazine as a photographer, she has a lot to think about. She and her best friend Stacey decide to take a trip to Kauai.  A last minute trip is the perfect way to help clear her mind and give her clarity and to let loose and have some fun. She wants what her sister Becky and her fiancĂ© Matthew have. She wants that all-consuming love.
Jackson Clark is every woman’s dream. Gorgeous and smart. He is visiting his brother and the last thing he expected was Rachel. She is smart, confident and a bit of a firecracker and he wants her and what Jackson wants, Jackson gets.
Rachel knows men like Jackson are bad news but she can’t deny the attraction nor the pull she feels when he is near. Jackson manages to worm his way into her life and into her heart. Together they are on top of the world and it something amazing.
Each not looking for a relationship but neither can deny what they want and what they want is each other. The thing is, relationships never work out when it comes to distance. One is on the east coast and the other is on the west coast. Agreeing to remain friends they reluctantly part ways. Like always, fate has a funny way of helping those cross paths. On the same coast, they are excited to be together again but almost immediately, Jackson’s past threatens their future. *insertangsthere* and what they have built together in such a short period of time crumbles.
OMG… I adored all of the characters in this book. Rachel and Jackson are fantastic together. They are soul mates through and through and their love for each other definitely gets put to the test. The chemistry between them if off the charts. I adored Jackson’s confidence and determination when it comes to Rachel, I also loved how caring he is with her.
Rachel unexpectedly found what she was looking for when she least expected it. Jackson is everything she has dreamed of. Although he is vague as to what it is he does for a living, he gives her his all and then some. Everyone has secrets and when Jackson’s come to light, Rachel’s world comes crashing down and she realizes she never really knew Jackson at all. Both Jackson and Rachel have to fight for what they want.
This book doesn’t disappoint. I felt every emotion, longing, the hurt, the angst, the happiness and the love.
M. Clarke gave us Something Great that turned into Something Wonderful which become Something Forever and has ended with Something Amazing! A FANTASTIC read!
