Interview with "Prick-Tober" of the Week: JASPER
KK Reviews: Well this in a new experience
for me. I have never interviewed anyone in jail before... So a Jasper, What was it about Riviera that
first caught your eye?
Jasper: Well, that’s easy. I mean look at
her. She’s hot as hell. And that rack on her. I mean come on! And I knew the
way she acted, she and I would be a go great together.
KK Reviews: Did you ever love her?
Jasper: Well, yeah. I still love her. Even
after everything that bitch did to me. And what she says ain’t true. Well, I
might have pushed her a time or two, but when I did, she always deserved it
with that nagging mouth of hers. God, if only she’d shut up once in a while.
KK Reviews: *Rolling my
eyes* and saying very sarcastically.. Gee aren’t you a catch, the men will love
you in here.
KK Reviews: What in your life made you drink so much and
upset you so much that you took it out on Riviera? Why not just go to the gym
to work out your frustrations?
Jasper: Snickers Look at this body, baby. Do I look like someone that sits on
his ass everyday? I live and breathe the gym! What the hell kind of question is
that anyway? Besides, I don’t drink a lot. That’s all in Riviera’s stupid mixed
up head of hers. And I didn’t take nothing out on her. Anytime I hit her, she
deserved it.
KK Reviews:
So you are saying that the scars from where you cut her are in her head? That
you raping her was in her head? Wow, you are the second most delusional person
I have met in the last week.
KK Reviews: Was Riviera the first women you ever hit?
Jasper: Hey, you’re acting like all I do is
smack women around. Why you asking me that anyway?
KK Reviews: "Why am I
asking? Because you seem to be an abusive man and I am sure Riv wasn’t the first
good looking woman with a nice rack you used as a punching bag and raped. Seriously? dude,Take a look around, you are in Jail!"
KK Reviews: Do you regret all that you have done to her?
Jasper: I don’t regret a thing. She’s the
one that should have regrets. What she did to me and the way her boyfriend or
whoever he is beat me up. Oh, I know what he says. But I’m tellin you, he held
me down and beat me. Didn’t give me a chance to defend myself. What kind of man
does that?
KK Reviews: A sane man.
You deserved that and more!
KK Reviews: Do you consider yourself a good person?
Jasper: Hell yeah I’m a good person. The
best, man.
KK Reviews: That was a
great joke! Thanks, I needed a good laugh today.
KK Reviews: How long have you battled with your drinking?
Jasper: Hey, what’s this crap about my
drinking. I already told you I ain’t got no drinking problem. I may have a
little too much on occasion, but who doesn’t, right?
KK Reviews: Why did
you agree to get Riviera back? Why not just let her be and walk away?
Jasper: You don’t know what she did to
me…how she left me. She was MINE! All MINE! And she leaves me like that. No way
am I gonna let her walk away.
I know what
she did and how she left you. Kudos to her..
KK Reviews: If you could have just one do-over what would it
be and why?
Jasper: The night she left me…I would’ve
been the one to handcuff her to that pole, right before I passed out on her.
Then she’d have never left me. I’d have made sure of that.
Again, you
PASSED OUT from DRINKING too much, just stating the obvious.
KK Reviews: Was any
of what you did to Riviera worth it?
Jasper: Like I said, I didn’t do nothing to
her. Not a goddamn thing. So you can take this interview or whatever the hell
it is and tell everybody you know. Jasper Mossburg was screwed.
KK Reviews: "So you are
saying that the scars from where you cut her and you raping
her was in her head? Wow, you are the second most delusional person I have met
in the last week. You should probably lay off of those steroids too. It affects
your mood and your balls you know with shrinkage, low testosterone, bad performance.
Jasper gives me an evil grin and flexes his muscles and says “Don’t worry,
baby. I already told ‘em to bring it on.”
Here is my 4.5 Star review
If there is love in your life, it
can make up for most things that are missing. If you don’t have love, no matter
what else you have, it will never be enough.”
Riviera Benson is a survivor. Finally finding the courage to
escape an abusive relationship she has an opportunity to start over in Beaver
Creek. She is far from perfect, smart and beautiful in her own unique way. She
is a talented painter but not in the traditional sense. She has been hired by
the notoriously bitchy interior designer, Marsha Sue. Working for Marsha Sue
hasn’t been easy and Riviera realizes it never will be but Marsha is the “it”
person to work for and Riviera needs the work. Working in million dollar
Shandon homes, Riviera creates masterpieces..murals on the ceilings and walls using
faux finishes. They are breathtaking, one of a kind and priceless. Fearing
relationships and lacking trust, she focuses on her work, it is the one thing
that helps put her mind at ease from the terrifying nightmares that keep her
awake at night, a secret that has prevented her from opening up to anyone,
until Shan. He seems to have gotten her panties in a bunch, in a good way and
that scares her more than anything.
Benjamin Shandon is a successful builder and owner of
Shandon Homes. His homes are perfect. He is tough to work for but in the end
the quality is priceless. After a devastating fire that destroyed hundreds of
million dollar homes, Shan works himself to the bone. He expects the perfection
from his employees as well as from his women; lately he doesn’t really have
time for that. He is married to his job that is until he meets the talented
painter, Riviera. He is completely smitten with her.
Slowly Riviera let’s Shan in and their friendship turns into
so much more. Shan believes in Riv, her talent and her strength and he does his
best to get her to believe in herself. Things seem to be going well, until
Riviera’s past catches up with her. When jealousy, revenge and love collide.
Riviera believes she is too flawed and Shan wants nothing more than to save her
from her tragic past as well as his.
Will Riviera be able to let go of her past to have a future
with Shan? Will Shan be able to accept her past as well?
Riviera is such a tortured soul. She is naive yet so smart,
so vulnerable and beautiful. Her scars are her story, her past. Your heart
absolutely breaks for her but somehow through it all she is able to create
beauty. She has the will and the drive to survive and to be free.
Jasper and Marsha Sue are those characters you absolutely
LOVE to HATE. They are evil n their own way and all you want to do is punch
them!
Shan.... Oh Shan *hotsexysmartdedicated* He is fantastic,
smart, cranky and gorgeous. He has his own demons he is battling, the same
demons that made him the work-a-holic perfectionist. When he meets Riviera, she
ends up turning his world inside out in the best possible way.
A.M Hargrove created some fantastic characters. There is
fear, struggle, angst, longing, love and most of all accomplishment by facing
the past, overcoming that fear and accepting the future.
Riviera and Shan journey is beautiful, angsty, humorous and
sexy.
Mrs. Hargrove does a fantastic job keeping the reader
engaged. A wonderful read that will piss you off, make you laugh, make you cry
and make you blush. An entertaining read. A fantastic job!
About the Author:
One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn’t do something soon, it would quickly be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life. So, she rolled down the passenger window of her fabulous (not) company car and tossed out her leather briefcase. Luckily, the pedestrian in the direct line of fire was a dodge ball pro and had über quick reflexes enabling him to avoid getting bashed in the head. Feeling a tad guilty about the near miss, A. M. made a speedy turn down a deserted side street before tossing her crummy, outdated piece-of-you-know-what lap top out the window. She breathed a liberating sigh of relief, picked up her cell phone and hit #4 on her speed dial.
Boss: Hello
A.M.: Boss, is that you?
Boss: Why yes, A. M., who else would be answering my phone?
A.M.: Er… right. Well, I’m calling to let you know you can pick up my luxury Ford Focus at Starbucks near the interstate.
Boss: Why ever would I want to do that?
A.M.: Because I quit!
A.M. hit the end button and speed dialed her husband.
A.M.: Hi hubs, can you pick me up at Starbucks?
Hubs: Sure… Having some car trouble?
A.M.: Not at all. I don’t have a car to have trouble with because I just quit my job.
Hubs: WHAT?!
A.M.: It’s time for a new career and I am going to be a very famous novelist.
So began A. M. Hargrove’s career as a YA/NA and Adult Romance writer! Her books include Kissing Fire, Edge of Disaster, Shattered Edge, the series the Guardians of Vesturon (Survival, Resurrection, Determinant, Beginnings and reEmergent) and Dark Waltz.
Yikes, that Jasper is a righteous Prick, isn't he? Thanks for featuring him--I think ;-) On a serious note, there are monsters out there who think like he does and maybe one day we'll corral them all and lock them away forever. Thanks for featuring me today and also for the amazing review! xoxo
