ATTRACTION: a feeling that makes

Lizzy Rollins. She is smart, beautiful and has such a great
future ahead of her. Focusing on trying to finish college, the last thing she
expected was to end up pregnant by Ben Nicholson. The man who never, ever does
the relationship thing, EVER. One crazy
night in Vegas and boom. Yes, they started off as great friends but deep down,
Lizzy wants the impossible from him but she will take what she can get.

Ben Nicholson is loving his life. He does what he wants when
he wants. No attachments is what he lives for. The thing is lately he has been
seeing Lizzy in a whole new light. He knows she is completely off limits. The
thing is when they talk or are around each other the chemistry between them is
all consuming and he does his best to stay away. As sweet and sexy as hell she
may be, he promised not to go there. You know what they say, promises are made
to be broken and when they finally give into their feelings it is everything he
imagined and more.

Since their passionate night, Lizzy has done all she can to

With Anne shocked and Mal pissed, the tension between the
best friends is off the charts. Mal continues to warn Ben to stay away but Ben
fights to prove that he will do all he can to support Lizzy. Agreeing to remain
friends and co-parent, Lizzy heart continues to break.
Oh Ben… he means well but everything he ends up doing is
just wrong. He continues to send Lizzy mixed signals, when they give into their
desires once again, Lizzy ends up getting her heart broken and when family
starts to add in their drama, Lizzy puts her foot down completely and utterly
defeated.
What’s a girl with a broken heart to do? Well she leaves
promising to keep him posted with the medical updates.
Even though he and Lizzie are connected in a deep way it
isn’t enough for Lizzie, the thing is she also wants to be connected to Ben’s
heart.
Poor Lizzie, those emotions that girl goes through. Up and
down, up and down. Ben is so hot and cold with her. She is beautiful, smart and
is head over heels for a man who doesn’t do relationships, baby or no baby. She
does her best to be friends with him no matter how much it kills her. The
longer she stays on tour with him, the more she begins to realize that a
relationship with Ben is not in the cards for her, him being a father well, yes
their baby will be provided for but how much of a role he will play in their
baby’s life is questionable. In the end, Lizzy makes a choice and she chooses
her baby.
Then there is Ben, who is confused. He isn’t used to the
feeling he is having, he isn’t used to checking in with someone. Unfortunately
this time, money can’t solve this issue. This is something Ben has to come to
terms with on his own, well maybe with the help of his band mates.
I love the struggles that Ben and Lizzy go though, as
heartbreaking as they are. The bumps in the road, the anger, the hurt and the
angst and the love. Ben made me so angry at times I just wanted to slap him and
the next minute I wanted to hug him. My heart just constantly broke for Lizzy.
She is literally stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Kylie Scott did an amazing job with Ben and Lizzy. It is a
story about self-discovery, friendship, relationships and love. A great
conclusion to the Stage Dive series.
Excerpt #3
“Where
have you been?” My sister rushed forward, catching me up in a tight hug. “I’ve
been trying to call you all day. We checked everywhere and couldn’t find you.”
“Sorry. I
just needed some alone time.” I squeezed her back, unable to stop from smiling.
The thought of Anne turning her back on me had scared me more than I liked to
admit.
“Well, I
get you might want that.” She stepped back. “But you could have told someone.”
“You
can’t just disappear like that.” And Ben kept right on frowning. “Shit, Liz,
you’re pregnant.”
“Don’t
upset her,” snapped Anne.
Ben
ignored her. “I don’t know what the hell’s going on in your head. But you need
to let me know where you are.”
My
eyebrows went up and my mouth opened, ready to rip him a new one.
“She
doesn’t answer to you. She’ll let you know if and when she decides to let you
know,” said Mal, laying down the law to his bandmate before turning my way.
“You will text your sister next time you decide to go wandering for a day,
understood?”
My mouth,
it still hung open.
“Christ,
man.” Over and over, Ben’s hands rolled into tight fists before releasing
again. “Can you cut the shit and get off my back for a fucking minute?”
“Don’t
swear at him.” My usually sensible and staid sister poked a finger dead center
in Ben’s broad chest. “You’re the one that caused this mess, thank you very
much. She might still be a little young and naive, but you’re definitely old
enough to know better.”
“That’s
right.” Standing about as tall as a skyscraper, despite only coming up to Ben’s
nose, Mal stared him down. Or up. Whatever. “This is a family matter. You can
leave, thanks.”
