Without another word he turns and walks away, ending the last five
years of what I thought was the beginning of our life together.
There is nothing to hold me together as I crumble to the ground in
complete devastation. Not enough. All over again.
Catherine
has guarded her heart since her father walked out on her when she was little.
After her fiancé shattered her world, she instantly blames herself for not

After having
some drinks with friends, she accidently ends up in the arms of a man that sets
her entire body on fire but being the stubborn woman she is, she thanks him and
walks away. Little does she know, she will be seeing her knight in shining
amour on a daily basis. Catherine decides to break all of her rules and give
things a chance.
Jackson is a
former navy seal a fantastic business man and he finds himself mesmerized by
Catherine.
Fate has a
funny way of making things work. Jackson can see how hurt Catherine has been
and he vows never to hurt her but he has some secrets of his own.
“I don’t know where it is, but I know I want to be around you. I know
I’ve thought about you every day and every night since we’ve met. There are a
lot of things we need to learn about each other. But you fell into my life and
I won’t let you fall out. So whatever this is… it’s ours.”
I loved the
characters, Catherine is beautiful, smart but guarded. She feels as if she will
never be enough for anyone. Jackson is gorgeous, smart and confident man and he
is also guarded. He goes after what he wants and what he wants is Catherine,
unfortunately due to his past, he feels that he fails the ones he loves. Both complete each other in ways they never
realized but they also try and keep their distance. It seems as when things go
well a bump in the road appears.
Corrine
Michael has a winner on hands. This book captures all of the emotions, I was
hooked within the first chapter. Be prepared for heartache, excitement, trust,
adventure and love. Did I mention the freaking cliffy? Oh, yeah the ending will
definitely have you DEMANDING more. Such
a Fantastic read!
Corinne is an emotional, witty, sarcastic, and fun loving mom of two beautiful children. She’s happily married to the man of her dreams and is a former Navy wife. After spending months away from her husband while he was deployed, reading and writing was her escape from the loneliness.
