Logan raised his arm, and Tate found himself moving in toward his side. It was amazing that something so simple had once felt so complicated.
When, now, all it felt was right.
Logan Mitchell has never really done relationships. Especially after the ordeal he suffered in college. His motto was pretty much love them and leave them. That is until Tate entered his life.
Tate is going through a not so clean divorce. Not only that, his ex-still hangs around his family making things a bit complicated. Still trying to figure things out with Logan. Tate continues to explore the attraction he feels towards this man. An attraction and intensity that was missing from his marriage.
He’d been so controlled and gentle but then fierce and passionate when he’d told him he was ready for more. He’d taken everything Tate had feared and made it acceptable. In fact, he’d made it desirable.
Both wanting more together but at the same time both men have to face their fears head on. One from the past and the other the present. They learn to give and to take, they also learn that together that can get past any obstacle they may face.
“No. I’m done pretending I don’t understand what’s going on here. It’s crazy and intense, but Logan, it’s real. Every time I’m near you, I feel alive.” He closed his eyes and whispered, “what they did and what they said…that’s their choice, and you are mine.”
I have to say that m/m isn’t really something I have read before. Ella did such an amazing job with Try that I just has to see where Tate and Logan ended up.
She wrote their relationship so beautifully. It was hot, sexy and she did it with class. The issues that they faced are real every day issues that couples face every day with assumptions, criticism and cruelty. You can’t help who you fall in love with no matter the gender.
I love how Logan and Tate supported each other through the rough times and compromised during others. That is how ALL relationships should be. It is all about communication, compromising and love.
This was a beautiful story with two great characters that I absolutely adore. The temptation series is a fantastic and sexy read.

“That’s your truck?”
